Most AI chat tools — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and others — format their answers as Markdown: headings, bold text, numbered lists, tables, and code blocks using the same plain-text conventions regardless of which one you're using. None of them export directly to Word, though, so what you get is either raw Markdown syntax or a copy-paste that loses the structure.
This page runs mdformatter's converter preset to Word output, and it isn't tied to any one AI tool — it works the same way regardless of which chatbot produced the Markdown.
