Convert Claude Output to Word

Claude writes longer-form answers in Markdown by default — especially noticeable in multi-section reports, structured comparisons, or anything with headings and numbered lists — and, like most AI chat tools, that formatting doesn't survive a direct copy-paste into Word.

This page presets mdformatter's converter to Word output specifically for that: paste the Markdown from a Claude response, click Convert, and get a real Word document with proper heading levels, tables rendered as actual tables, code blocks kept in a monospace font, and any LaTeX math turned into a native, editable Word equation.

This is aimed at the common case of using Claude to draft something substantial — a report, a proposal, structured research notes — and needing it in an editable, properly formatted Word file rather than a wall of Markdown syntax.

Claude's Artifacts feature also produces standalone Markdown documents rather than inline chat replies — those paste into this converter exactly the same way as a regular response, since the underlying formatting is the same Markdown syntax either way.
